Sunshine Coast Community Tree Planting

Join Positive Change for Marine Life (PCFML) and Greening Australia for a community tree planting day at PCFML’s newly established restoration site in Conondale, “Project Ubuntu”, funded by the Ubuntu Foundation.

Help plant up to 2,000 native trees and shrubs at this key location that links the Australian Wildlife Conservancy Curramore Sanctuary, Maleny National Park, and the Mary River, contributing to biodiversity restoration and improving river flow, water quality, and the health of the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) catchment.

  • When: Saturday 9 December, 7.45am – 12pm
  • Location: Cooke’s Road, Conondale, QLD (detailed directions given on registration)
  • Snacks/beverages: Light refreshments and lunch provided
  • What to bring: Hat, sun-smart clothes, closed shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle, a willingness to learn and get involved!
