Salary range: $120k + 12.75% super + salary packaging

About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst who will be the go-to person for all things financial data and serve as a vital link supporting financial data and reporting needs across the organisation.

Reporting to the CFO and collaborating with stakeholders across the business (including the Board, Finance and Risk Committee, CEO and Executive Team, Program Directors, and Project Managers) this role represents an outstanding opportunity to join Greening Australia and play a key part in contributing to our goals through delivering enhanced business insights, financial analysis and reporting.

Key Activities

  • Analysing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Managing budget and forecasting cycles
  • Building and maintaining a robust system of financial forecasting, planning, and reporting
  • Preparing and presenting detailed management financial reports
  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance
  • Creating and maintaining complex financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary data and insights

About You

The Essentials:

  • Qualified CA/CPA (with prior tertiary degree in accounting or a related field)
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and reporting, including the preparation of financial reports for senior leadership
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and tools like Microsoft Business Central and Power BI
  • Experience with data visualisation and project modelling
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, with a hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Strong team player, effective across functions, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
