Are you a landowner in the Peel-Harvey Catchment looking to better understand your landscape so you can design and shape it for greater resilience, productivity, sustainability and fire safety? Are you interested in learning strategies, tips and techniques to be a more effective and happier land holder?  Then this workshop is for you!

Join well known landcare expert Chris Ferreira from the Forever Project for a specialist one day workshop designed to help you create a sustainable property plan or ‘blueprint’ for your property to ensure it is safe, productive, sustainable, and beautiful into the future.

This workshop will cover,

  • Learning to assess fire risk and how to mitigate against it
  • Understanding your soils and how best to utilise and restore then
  • Types of feral weeds and animals and how to control them
  • Where and how re-vegetation can support your goals
  • Land management principals and how to design for success
  • Ideas and strategies to diversity your income
  • Better pasture and crops for stock
  • Attracting wildlife to your property

To get the most out of the day it is encouraged for those attending to bring along a soil sample, any weed or plant samples or photographs for identification and photographs of your property.

Catered lunch is provided.
