Dr Elizabeth McEntyre is a Worimi Guringai and Wonnarua Elder belonging to Lands, Waters, and Skies spanning Port Stephens, the Great Myall Lakes, the Barrington Tops, and the Hunter Valley in NSW.

She is a Doctor of Social Work and Criminology, and a leading researcher and advisor in the areas of criminal justice, Aboriginal mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, disability, aged care, traditional and contemporary Aboriginal connection to and management of land and coastal zones, and economic success for First Nations Peoples. Her expertise is recognised by roles held on several Boards and Committees, and with co-leading research projects and publications.
